Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has rubbished reports of the withdrawal of nomination papers submitted by the coalition parties for the Punjab Assembly elections.

Terming the reports false, she said the party leadership did not take any such decision.

She added: “These reports are fabricated and mere speculations.

"All the parties in the government are in favour of elections across the country on the same day.

"The media is requested to confirm with the spokesperson before airing such stuff."
