The journalist community has expressed concern over the arrest of Amir Mir.

While reacting to Amir Mir’s arrest, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced to stage a protest against the arrest.
The former ruling party said it will stage a protest inside Punjab Assembly on Monday.
Journalists being “picked up” in this manner is unacceptable. What crimes are they charged with? Where is the due process of law? Weekend pickups mean they will stay in lockup until Monday. We expect clarity in law on why Amir Mir and Imran Shafqat have been summarily arrested https://t.co/YklxrsLOVV
