WhatsApp is working on a feature to share music audio during a video call, and it will be available in a future update!https://t.co/ZHMdf5RG7U pic.twitter.com/95dsVUbqOV
The upcoming feature will allow everyone, who is on the call, to listen to video and music audio together when someone shares their screen. This would provide an immersive and shared audio-visual experience.
When users enable this feature, they will be able to share the audio with other people on the call which is being played on their device. However, this is not compatible with voice calls or during video calls with video disabled.
"The ability to share video and music audio in real-time during a screen-sharing session adds a dynamic layer to video calls, making virtual gatherings definitely more interactive," said WaBetaInfo.
Through this feature, users will be able to enjoy a sense of connection with their friends and family during a video call with the screen-share option available.
The feature will be available in a future update of the app as its currently being developed.
