CTO Lahore introduces favorable measures for voters

In a bid to facilitate citizens participating in the electoral process, the Chief Traffic Officer Lahore Amara Athar has introduced favorable measures regarding traffic fines until February 8.
According to her, no citizen will be challaned against CNIC till February 8.
The CTO announced a temporary suspension of identity card challans until February 8.
She said citizens who are facing traffic challans can receive their CNIC from the concerned traffic sectors from 07:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Moreover, in cases where challans are issued, citizens have the option to provide their registration book or license as collateral.
Despite the temporary suspension of ID card challans, proceedings concerning violations of traffic regulations will continue as usual.
For those unable to settle fines within the 10-day grace period, concerned documents will be retained at the respective district offices until claimed.
