Flag marches continue across Pakistan ahead of 2024 elections

As Pakistan prepares for the general elections on February 8, 2024, the law enforcement agencies are conducting flag marches in various cities and towns to ensure the security and transparency of the polls, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.
The flag marches are participated by the officials of the police, Pakistan Army, Rangers and other security forces.
The flag marches aim to maintain law and order, enforce the election code of conduct and deter any possible violence or disruption during the voting process.
The law enforcement agencies have also assured the public that they are ready to deal with any adverse situation.
Some of the places where the flag marches have been conducted include Gujranwala, Pabi, Jahangira, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur and Gawadar. The flag marches usually start and end at the police lines and pass through various areas of the cities and towns.
