Fog leads to cancellation of 22 flights at country’s different airports

Dense fog in different parts of the country again disrupted the flights’ operation on Sunday as it led to the cancellation of 22 national and international flights at different airports of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Three flights of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from Islamabad to Muscat, Doha and Dubai were cancelled.
Similarly, PK-144, PIA’s flight from Islamabad to Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), PK-262, from Islamabad to Abu Dhabi, while the airline’s two flights from Lahore to Kuala Lumpur, PK-898 and PK-899, had to be cancelled.
Likewise, national flag carrier’s flight from Lahore to Dubai PK-235, and two Quetta-bound flights PK-322 and PK-323 could not take off either.
According to the authorities, PIA’s two flights from Multan to Sharjah, PK-293 and PK-294, were cancelled.
Similarly, the airline’s four flights from Peshawar to Muscat, Peshawar to Dubai, Peshawar to Doha and Peshawar to Abu Dhabi were cancelled too.
The authorities informed that an international airline’s flight from Riyadh to Peshawar and another international flight from Peshawar to Riyadh were cancelled as well.
Besides that, they said, five international airlines’ flights that were to take off from Peshawar’s Bacha Khan Airport were delayed.
