Sukkur-bound PIA flight returns to Karachi due to fault

A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight which took off from Karachi to Sukkur returned back to the Jinnah International Airport in the megacity after the plane developed a technical fault on Tuesday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Flight PK-537 with Sindh Assembly Speaker Awais Shah, senior PPP leader Khurshid Shah and others were on board when the PIA’s ATR plane developed the fault.
The plane was able to land at the Karachi Airport where it was being repaired.
According to PIA administration, the plane will again set off for Sukkur at 9:00 am after the repairs were done.
