Moonis Elahi questions use of force against peaceful 24News workers

Pakistan Muslim League (PML) leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi on Monday condemned the government’s use of force against the journalists protesting in Lahore and Islamabad against the closure of 24NewsHD TV.
In a tweet on Monday evening, Moonis said it was beyond comprehension why journalists protesting peacefully were treated like miscreants.
The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) had ordered closure of 24NewsHD TV on July 3 and the news channel went off air on July 6.
