A case was Thursday registered against six persons including Col (retd) Asim, In-charge of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Tiger Force, and Ali Amin Gandapur, a PTI leader and former federal minister, over a firing incident outside former premier Imran Khan’s residence in Bani Gala which had left a person injured, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The case was registered on the complaint of a cousin of Waleed who had sustained injuries in the firing incident.

“Four Tiger Force members stopped the car of my uncle Hafeez and cousin Waleed. One of them was carrying a Kalashnikov; one had a pistol; while the other two had sticks,” the FIR reads.

“They claimed to be the members of Imran Khan’s Tiger Force and asked my uncle and cousin to reverse the car or they will kill them,” it reads further.

“Suddenly, the accused opened fire, shooting my cousin Waleed in the leg,” it adds.

“The name of one who fired shots from the Kalashnikov is Misal Khan. The name of one who fired shots from the pistol is Arif Marwat,” it states.

“All of them belonged to the Tiger Force, and their in-charge is Col (retd) Asim at whose behest the incident took place,” it alleges.

“The Tiger Force had been deployed by Ali Amin Gandapur, and they quarrel with the locals every other day. The locals of Bani Gala should be rescued from the Tiger Force, and action should be taken against the accused,” it demands.
