Khalilzad discusses Afghan peace with COAS Gen Bajwa

US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad on Sunday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the military’s media wing, matters of mutual interest, overall regional security situation and Afghan reconciliation process were discussed in the meeting.
DG ISPR in a tweet said: “Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad, US Special Representative for Afghan Reconciliation called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, COAS today. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, overall regional security situation including Afghan refugees issue / Afghan Reconciliation...”
