Former provincial ministers Sardar Asif Nakai, Muhammad Ikhlaq, MPAs Sardar Wasim Khan Badozai, Wasim Gondal and Rana Shahbaz were also present in the meeting.

The difficulties faced by the people including the political and economic situation were discussed in detail in the meeting.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that the present government has no vision to solve the problems of the people, the economic situation is getting worse day by day and getting out of the hands of the imported government.

He further said that people are facing a daily increase in the prices of essential commodities. Despite making petrol, electricity and gas more expensive, the rulers are now preparing to impose more taxes and withdraw subsidies in the next budget.

The Speaker Punjab Assembly said that the rulers are not capable of delivering on public issues, bogus rulers should prepare to go home and announce elections. Ch Parvez Elahi said that in just a few weeks, the people have seen the style of government of these so-called experienced rulers.

He said that apart from increasing the price of petrol by Rs 60 per litre and gas and electricity prices, what has the imported government done? Shahbaz Sharif in the federation and his son Hamza Shahbaz in Punjab are wreaking havoc on the economy.
