Lahore Sessions Court orders to block NICs of all judicial absconders

Lahore Session Court ordered to block National Identity Cards (NICs) of all judicial absconders, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the details, there is a total of 2,226 Judicial Absconders in all the three district courts of Lahore. While thousands of the absconders in Sessions and other courts are separate from this figure.

These statistics about the absconders were provided by District Public Prosecutor Rai Mushtaq Ahmed to the Session Judge during a monthly meeting in the Sessions Court Lahore.

The district public prosecutor told the judge that there is a total of 670 absconders in the Cantt Kachehri (court), 507 in Model Town Kachehri, and 1049 in Zila Kachehri (District Court), while in Sessions and other courts it is separate.

On this, the Sessions Judge ordered the judicial magistrates to block the national identity cards of all these absconders and collect the data of their property.

The Sessions Judge said that until the property of the absconders will not be sealed, they will not appear before the courts and will remain absent.

Following the Sessions Court orders, Judicial Magistrates have sought a report from the concerned police about the judicial absconders.
