Covid infections, positivity ratio plunge in Pakistan

Pakistan has recorded a sharp drop in the number of Covid-19 infections as the country diagnosed 16 more coronavirus cases with no fatality during the last 24 hours (Saturday), showed the data released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Sunday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the NIH data, the death toll in the country remained the same at 30,658 whereas the number of total infections now increased to 1,580,875 after adding the fresh 16 cases.
During the last 24 hours (Saturday), 2,551 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio plunged to 0.63%. The number of patients in critical care stood at nine.
