District election commissioner dies while performing duty in Jamshoro

A district election commissioner (DEC) breathed his last while performing poll duty during local body by-elections in Jamshoro on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

DEC Jamshoro Saeed Ahmad Soomro fell sick while visiting a polling station. He rushed back to his office where he suffered a cardiac arrest which resulted into his death, said Divisional Election Commissioner Hyderabad Ali Abdullah Khalid.

Ali Abdullah Khalid further said the Saeed Ahmad Soomro was a resident of Old City area of Hyderabad.
