PML-N defers May 11 general council meeting

Ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has deferred its general council meeting due to be held on May 11 (Saturday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

After consultations with PML-N leaders and considering their proposals, the meeting will now be held on May 28, Youm-e-Takbeer.

May 28 will mark the 26^th anniversary of the string on nuclear blasts which Pakistan had conducted in 1998.

It was earlier reported that the meeting would take a decision regarding leadership of the PML-N. Nawaz Sharif was tipped to regain the party presidentship.
