The Foreign Office spokesperson on Friday condemned Indian air chief’s remarks against Pakistan.
Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that remarks of Indian Air Defence Chief Bipin Rawat reflect his political approach and his lack of knowledge of facts about Pakistan. He said that General Bipin is speaking the language of RSS and the BJP, which are two Hindu extremist groups pursuing the dangerous policy of Hindutva. He said this is unfortunate that this ideology of the BJP and the RSS has trickled down to the India Army as well.
The spokesperson said that Bipin Rawat should focus on his professional duties instead of issuing anti-Pakistan statements.
