The first phase of the Raiwind congregation ended on Sunday with participants beseeching Allah Almighty’s mercy and seeking forgiveness of their sins, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The first phase of the Raiwind Ijtima (congregation) concluded with rapturing moments as participants were seen indulging in supplications seeking triumph of Islam and praying for the country’s security. 

After the conclusion of the first phase, the people started going back.

 The International Tableeghi Ijtema in Raiwind began on Thursday after Asr prayers.

The gathering is consisted of two phases. Due to corona, the gathering has been limited in number and it has been held in phases for the last two years.

The first phase ended with prayers today (Nov 7) and was attended by delegates from Lakki Marwat, Karak, Bannu, Dir, Bajaur, Chitral, Pindi, Jhelum, Sargodha, Khushab, Bhakkar and Sindh.

The second phase will start on November 11 and end on Nov 14. Delegates from Kohat, Orakzai, Adamkhel, Malakand, Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Gujarat, Sialkot and Narwal will participate.

Traffic plan has been prepared, strict security arrangements have been made, more than two thousand personnel including 9 SDPOs, 27 SHOs are on duty under the supervision of three divisional officers.

More than 30 PRU’s and Dolphin teams have also been deployed under the supervision of SP Dolphin.

Seven parking stands, twenty forklifts have also been arranged, walk-through gates have been installed at entrances and exits.

For those coming from different areas, the way to reach the venue of congregation has been fixed through different routes. Stalls of various items have also been set up around the congregation place.
