Senior PPP leader in Nowshera joins PTI

Pakistan Peoples Parties (PPP) Monday received a severe blow when former federal minister and senior party leader Mian Muzaffar Shah Kakakhel and Barrister Mian Sarwar Shah quit the party and joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, Muzaffar Shah announced his decision at a public meeting held at his hujra in Nowshera on Monday, where dozens of party workers also joined the PTI and extended support to PTI leadership.
Mian Muzaffar Shah remained Federal Minister of Narcotics during the PPP government.
On the occasion, former MPs Idris Khattak, Aqib Ullah Khan, Zahir Shah Toro, District President Mian Umar Kakakhel, Secretary General Insaf Lawyers Forum Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Zaman and other leaders were present.
