Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has been named in yet another case registered at the Naseerabad Police Station, Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHd TV channel on Sunday.

The case includes terrorism charges, along with 13 other serious offenses.

Key PTI local activists involved in the case include Ajmal Sabir, Malik Taimoor Masood, Javed Kausar, Zahid Khaleeq Kiyani, Shehryar Riaz, Rashid Hafeez, Ijaz Khan Jazi, and Usman Tiger, among others.

In addition to these named individuals, 200 to 300 unidentified individuals have also been accused.

According to the police, 16 individuals have already been arrested from those named in the case.

The charges against the accused involved blocking the M-1 Motorway and resorting to gunfire, which created panic and fear among the public.

The case further alleged that the protesters, armed with firearms, sticks, and petrol bombs, were advancing toward Islamabad with the intent to cause disruption.

The FIR also stated that the accused caused extensive damage to public property, vandalizing various government assets during their violent demonstration.

When law enforcement tried to intervene, the protesters allegedly attacked the police force, further intensifying the chaos.

The FIR also claims that the protesters, acting on the instructions of the PTI founder, chanted anti-state slogans and incited unrest against security agencies.

The sources said that the unrest reportedly erupted in response to the special treatment being given to the PTI founder Imran Khan while he remains in jail. Party workers, frustrated by the situation, resorted to violent protests. Furthermore, the case asserted that the planning for these protests was carried out during meetings between party leaders and the PTI founder while he was in custody.

The police also allege that the protesters violated Section 144, obstructing official government work and disrupting the peace.
