PTI leader Azam Swati arrested by Islamabad police last night

Islamabad police Sunday revealed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Azam Swati was arrested last night at around 11 pm, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police sources, Swati after his arrest was initially taken to the Sangjani police station, where he was held for a brief period before being transferred to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Center during the night.
The reasons behind Swati’s arrest have not yet been disclosed, but his detention has added to the ongoing political tensions in the country.
This arrest comes amid heightened scrutiny of PTI leaders and increased action by law enforcement against the party’s members.
PTI has expressed concerns over the treatment of its leadership and the growing number of arrests targeting its key figures.
