Four people were gunned down by their rivals due to old enmity in Khushab on Thursday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident took place on Sundhral Road near Dhup Sarri when the victims were on their way from home in Jhugiyaan for a court appearance.
Their rivals ambushed their vehicle near Dhup Sarri and killed three of them on the spot while the fourth one succumbed to his injuries later. Two people were also injured in the attack.
The police rushed to the spot and took the situation under control. Later, they shifted the bodies to the DHQ Hospital.
Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Imam Ghani took notice of the incident.
The IGP sought a report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sargodha.
