Clothes’ prices go skyrocketing as Eid draws nearer

As Eid-ul-Fitr draws nearer, the prices of readymade and unstitched clothes have increased by 40 per cent in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

It is learnt that the clothes are expensive in retail in Saddar Bazaar, Dharmapura, Mughalpura, and Anarkali Bazaar.

The price of a Rs650 suit has increased to Rs1,000 and that of a Rs1,500 suit to Rs2,100.

The price of an unstitched Rs2,500 cloth has increased to Rs3,500 and that of Rs3,500 cloth to Rs4,900.
