Investigation shows Afghan nationals behind couple's murder in Islamabad

The investigations into a case related to the murder of a couple in Islamabad have pointed towards the involvement of Afghan nationals, the 24NewsHDTV channel reported on Thursday.
A couple was brutally murdered in Barakahu area of Islamabad over a dispute of passage last Monday.
The deceased man served as Assistant Registrar Engineering Council while his wife was also from the engineering field.
The police report stated that the murderers turned off the surveillance cameras in the street before committing the crime.
The culprits have been wanted by the police in other cases as well and there is a possibility that the accused might have fled to Afghanistan.
The lawmen completed geo-fencing of the site and decided to take out the Call Detail Records (CDR) of people present at the crime scene.
