At a session titled, "Main Hoon Karachi" at the 17th Urdu Conference, organized by the Karachi Arts Council, actress Mahira Khan left everybody stunned by refusing to comment on senior actor Firdous Jamal.
When Wasim Badami asked about Firdous, Mahira appeared confused and replied with a smile, “What should I say about him? I don’t know him at all.” Despite Badami’s clarification that Firdous is a senior actor, she repeated, “I don’t know him at all, so what can I say about him?” Her cold response to the question led to further curiosity among viewers.
After Mahira’s response, Badami, perhaps trying to divert the audience's attendance, asked, “Is Imran Khan your aunt’s son?” Mahira responded with grace but stayed focused on the discussion about Karachi and her love for the city.
