Addt’l Chief Secretary South Punjab empowered for transfer, posting of AC

The Punjab government has given the authority of transfer and posting of the Grade 17 officers to Additional Chief Secretary South Punjab.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Additional Chief Secretary South Punjab will now be able to transfer Assistant Commissioners (ACs) and section officers themselves.

The channel report said that the Additional Chief Secretary South Punjab will be authorized only to make transfers and postings in the areas under his control.

The report further said that notification has been issued to give powers to the Additional Chief Secretary South Punjab.
