Pakistani actress Iffat Omar often expresses her admiration for Maryam Nawaz Sharif. In the recent viral video, the actress has revealed the reason behind her admiration towards Maryam Nawaz Sharif. She said:

“Pehle bhi siyasatdaan thay lakin wo itne kam zarf nahi thay jitney Imran Khan hain. Maryam bohat nadir aurat hai baap k saath jail me gai aur jail me jo jo un k sath hua hai imrna khan k dor me. Unhone bht zulm saha aur un k father martay martay bache jail me is liy I have a soft corner for her.”

(There were politicians earlier too, but they were not as incompetent as Imran Khan. Maryam is a very strong woman. She went to jail with her father and what happened to her in jail during the reign of Imran Khan. She suffered a lot of cruelty, and her father barely made it through his time in jail in terms of health. That is why I have a soft corner for her.)

This is what Iffat Omar said:

Pertinent to note that Iffat Omar has been a strong critic of Imran Khan as he has brought the country to its knees. She also cleared the air that she doesn’t support any political party.
