Election Tribunal will hear PTI’s petitions on Monday (tomorrow) against alleged rigging in Islamabad’s three National Assembly constituencies, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


PTI candidates Aamir Mughal, Ali Bukhari and Shoaib Shaheen have approached the Election Tribunal regarding the alleged rigging during the general elections 2024.


Islamabad High Court in a circular ordered strict security arrangements during the hearing of the pleas. According to the circular, people carrying special passes will be able to enter the court for the hearing.


The circular said Islamabad administration and IG Islamabad should ensure regular administrative and security arrangements. While keeping in view the capacity of Court Room No. 4, entry into the Court will be subject to entry passes.


The petitioners, including their 25 lawyers, will be allowed to enter the courtroom, the circular said. Only one law officer from Attorney General, Advocate General Offices will be allowed to enter the courtroom while Islamabad High Court Journalist Association’s 30 journalists will be allowed to enter the courtroom, the circular said.


All the concerned parties should submit their list of nominees to the Registrar's Office. Employees and officials of Islamabad High Court will be able to enter the High Court by showing their departmental card, circular added.
