Former prime minister and senior PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has declared that the Opposition has achieved their numbers target required for the success of the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the mediamen in Islamabad on Tuesday, Khaqan Abbasi said all matters related to the no-trust move have been settled. “All matters related to a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan have been settled. We have enough numbers for it.”

The former prime minister said “The PML-N leadership will submit a requisition after a decision on a no-confidence motion by the opposition parties.”

Khaqan Abbasi was of the view that the prime minister had not yet consulted his party on NAB chairman’s issue. “The government’s corruption will come to light soon. The prime minister, his ministers and the NAB chairman cannot run anywhere.”

Abbasi opined that if Imran Khan was so fond of accountability then he should himself take over the NAB chairmanship.
