Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) President Anis Kaimkhani has also contracted coronavirus, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel Saturday.
PSP Chairman Mustafa Kamal had confirmed the report saying that Kaimkhani had received the test report with positive symptoms.
He was admitted to a private hospital for the last three days after getting some kind of sickness and difficulty in breathing with a high fever.
PSP Chairman appealed to party workers to offer special prayers for the early recovery of their president.
Another 120 people lost their lives to coronavirus whereas 4,109 fresh cases were reported across Pakistan during the last 24 hours (Friday), showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Saturday morning.
Confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Sindh have now climbed to 290,756; it reported 1,110 new infections after administering 13,676 tests, a positivity ratio of 8.12 percent. The province reported 24 deaths, raising the toll to 4,722, while its recoveries rose by 1,034 to 268,558. Overall, the province now has 17,476 active cases of the novel coronavirus.
