Lahore High Court has disposed off the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar’s plea challenging his suspension from the post, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The former CCPO Lahore moved the court seeking cancellation of his suspension notification. While disposing off the plea, the court suggested the former CCPO Lahore to approach the Supreme Court or Service Tribunal.

Earlier on Monday, the CCPO approached the Lahore High Court against his suspension as CCPO Lahore. He named the federal government, the secretary of the Establishment Division, and the Punjab government as the respondents in the case.

In his plea, Dogar alleged that the federal government was targeting him over the registration of terrorism cases against two federal ministers in Lahore's Green Town Police Station.
