The Peshawar High Court has approved a 14-day transit bail for Bushra Bibi, ordering authorities not to arrest her in any case during this period, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, Bushra Bibi approached the Peshawar High Court yesterday through her lawyer to seek transit and protective bail. Today, she appeared in court in person.

The Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court, Ishtiaq Ibrahim, heard the plea, and a two-member bench of the High Court approved her bail.

In its decision, the court instructed that Bushra Bibi should not be detained in any case for the next 14 days.

During the hearing, Bushra Bibi’s lawyer informed the court that multiple cases have been filed against her in all four provinces, but the details of these cases remain unknown.

He requested the court to obtain the details of these cases and protect his client from arrest, asserting that there is no case registered against Bushra Bibi in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He also mentioned that the Peshawar High Court had previously granted protective bail in similar circumstances.

In response, the court summoned all case details from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and other relevant institutions.
