Senior lawyer, wife gunned down in Nowshera

Unidentified attackers gunned down a senior lawyer and his wife on Wednesday triggering anger among the legal fraternity of Nowshera District Bar that immediately went on strike in reaction, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Advocate Shaukat and his wife were targeted and killed in the premises of the Police Station Risalpur in Nowshera.
Both husband and wife were going in a car to attend a funeral. The attackers managed to flee from the scene.

A large number of lawyers reached the murder site and chanted slogans demanding justice for the late advocate Shaukat.
It is pertinent to note that five days ago another lawyer was also murdered in Nowshera.
