Jemima Khan followed by Sajal Aly announced the release of the movie and shared its trailer through social media platforms. ‘What's Love Got to do with it is a movie about an eligible doctor in a foreign country who has consented to arrange a "assisted marriage" for a Pakistani girl. 

His white neighbor friend initially finds the concept of "contractual love", but after filming the Pakistani wedding, she either falls in love with him or possibly the concept of profound love.

Sajal Aly posted the 2.5-minute clip to her Instagram page with the question, “How do you find lasting love in today’s world?”

Jemima Khan also shared the trailer, asking: "Is it better to walk into love than to fall into it?"

Despite playing the lead, Sajal Aly only makes a few appearances in the film. The bride-to-be Sajal Aly is seen dancing passionately at the wedding in a trailer scene. The movie combines friendship, unrequited love, and an arranged marriage that becomes a marriage of love. The movie is scheduled to debut on January 27, 2023.

Shekhar Kapur, who also directed Bridget Jones's Diary and Love Actually, is the film's director. Emma Thompson, Mim Shaikh, Jeff Mirza, and Asim Chaudhry all appear in the movie.

What's Love Got To Do With It? Trailer promises a great deal. It can be safely stated that people cannot wait for 2023 since it is so extremely relatable, full of jokes and heartfelt moments, and has a star-studded casting to add to the execution.
