Pakistani Army shoots down Indian spy drone along LoC

April 9, 2020 11:32 AM

As the whole world is exhausting its energies on how to contain the coronavirus, India is still resorting to its dirty games in the region.

Pakistan military shot down an Indian spy drone along Line of Control (LoC) early Thursday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in Rawalpindi, the Indian quadcopter was brought down in Sankh Sector which was in clear violation of the Pakistani airspace.

In this provocative act, the ISPR statement said, the Indian quadcopter intruded 600 metres inside Pakistan’s territory for conducting surveillance.

This blatant act was aggressively responded to by Pakistan Army troops by shooting down the Indian quadcopter, the ISPR said.

Such unwarranted acts by the Indian army are a clear violation of the established norms, existing Air Agreement between the two countries and reflected the Indian army’s consistent disregard to the Ceasefire Understanding of 2003, the ISPR statement concluded.
