Police chief assures security of New Zealand cricket team

Over the issue of security of the New Zealand cricket team during their tour to Pakistan, Inspector General (IG) Islamabad Police assured to provide foolproof security.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, IG Islamabad Police has said full security will be provided to the Kiwis.

The New Zealand cricket team are scheduled to tour Pakistan in April and May 2023 to play five One Day International (ODI) matches and five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.
The tour is to make up for the series that was postponed in September 2021.
