Punjab CM Maryam visits DHQ Hospital Mianwali, expresses displeasure over renovation work in hospital

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited DHQ Hospital in Mianwali district on Thursday and expressed displeasure over the poor renovation of admin and other offices in the hospital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
CM Maryam Sharif also visited trauma center and inspected various wards of the hospital. She also inquired about the death of an abandoned patient due to the alleged negligence of the hospital staff 2 months ago. Maryam Nawaz sought report on the complaint of taking money from the patient for X-ray.
The Chief Minister also promised to consider the request for giving stipend to under-training dispensers. She also inspected procedure room, minor operation theatre, per mile medical emergency and peds ward in trauma center. Maryam Nawaz took a child in her hands who was waiting for treatment for a long time in eemergency and started the treatment.
Maryam Nawaz ordered to make all wards of Hospital functional on priority basis. She inquireded from the patients about the treatment facilities in the hospital. Chief Minister Sharif also inquired about free treatment, medicines and tests from the patients.
Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, RPO, DPO and other officials were also present on the occasion.
