The Punjab University is facing financial crisis as for the first time in its history, hundreds of its teachers and officers have not received their salaries yet, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
As per details, about 1100 teachers and officers above grade 16 have not been paid their July salaries.
Usually, Punjab University issues salaries on the 30th of every month but this time due to financial trouble August 8 has passed and July salaries have still not been disbursed.
