Class I girl student raped in Layyah; accused held

A six-year-old girl student of Class I was allegedly raped in Ward 6 of Fatehpur area in Layyah district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The Fatehpur police lodged a case against the accused, identified as Abdullah, on the complaint of the girl’s father.
Layyah District Police Officer (DPO) Nasir Sial took notice of the incident. “The accused will be punished severely in accordance with the law,” he vowed.
Later, the police arrested the accused and put him behind bars.
