Akhtar Hayat Gandapur appointed new KP IGP

The Federal government Thursday appointed Akhtar Hayat Gandapur, a Grade 21 officer as the new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Akhtar Hayat Gandapur replaced Moazzam Jah Ansari at the helm of KPK police.
The interior ministry has issued a notification in this regard.
Prior, Akhtar Hayat was posted in the Federal Investigation Agency.
The new IGP has been transferred under Civil Service Act 1973.
