Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) women voters have lodged number of complaints about the election process and shifting of their votes from one polling station to another, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A PTI supporter woman claimed that despite confirming the vote number and polling station by sending message on 8300, her name was showed as Amina instead of real name Manabil. Moreover, despite wait of several hours, she was not allowed to cast vote.
Meanwhile PTI leader Barrister Gohar has urged citizens to leave homes and exercise their democratic right.
After casting his vote in the National Assembly constituency NA-10 Buner, Gohar stressed the significance of active participation in the electoral process.
"This is a day of independence after much-awaited anticipation," Gohar said while talking to media. He urged the public to seize the opportunity to make their voices heard through the ballot box.
Responding to a query about the next Prime Minister, Gohar clarified that the PTI founder would make the decision. However, he remained focused on the imminent democratic exercise and encouraged voters to concentrate solely on the polling process.
Expressing concern over the suspension of internet services, Gohar said such actions could potentially cast a shadow of doubt on the fairness and transparency of the election.
He stressed the need for uninterrupted access to information to uphold the integrity of the electoral process.
Despite challenges, Gohar expressed confidence in PTI's support among the public, urging voters to remain calm and steadfast while awaiting the election results.
