Films releasing in cinemas on Eid Ul Adha 2024

Cinema in Pakistan has been in shambles for the past 3 years after the pandemic destroyed the revival that was happening.

Add to it the crushing economy and political instability that raised the ticket prices but left the public unable to buy such a luxury, this all led to cinemas suffering.

Films are not being made and not being released either.

Eid ul Adha is however bringing some big movies to the screens.

Umro Ayyar: The Beginning

Umro Ayyar is the first Pakistani film that is bringing our very own superhero-esque genre to the screen. The film has some huge talent and top-notch VFX that will be featured for the first time in a Pakistani movie. Umro Ayyar has Faran Tahir, Usman Mukhtar, Sana, Sanam Saeed, and Ali Kazmi in pivotal characters while Hamza Ali Abbasi plays a cameo.

Abhi

The long-stalled romantic film Abhi will mark singer Goher Mumtaz’s silver screen debut. The film has Kubra Khan as the leading lady. It was meant to be released a bit ago but with cinemas in shambles, it was pushed. It is finally coming out this Eid ul Adha.

Na Baligh Afraad

Na Baligh Afraad is directed by Nabeel Qureshi and it will feature youngsters Aashir Wajahat and Samar Jafri in the leads. The film will be released in cinemas though it speculated before that the film will come directly on OTT.

Bad Boys: Ride Or Die

The highly loved franchise Bad Boys is coming up with another film this year. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are coming back with their signature action and comedy. The film is screening this Eid ul Adha.

Inside Out 2

Inside Out was a big animated film and won awards when it came out. The sequel was in making and it is coming out in 2024. Many fans are looking forward to it and children will also have something to watch on Eid ul Adha.
