Govt demands Speaker to call NA session early to resolve No-Confidence issue
Decision will be made keeping in view constitution and law, says Asad Qaiser

Prime Minister Imran Khan-led government has urged the National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser to call the session early to resolve the issue of the no-confidence motion, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem and Defense Minister Pervez Khattak called on the NA Speaker and put the government’s demand before him.
Replying to the ministers on calling the No-Confidence Motion Session, Speaker Asad Qaiser said he will make a decision keeping in view the constitution and the law.
Speaker Asad Qaiser told the government representatives that he was reviewing the opposition’s requisition and will decide about convening a meeting soon.
In the meeting, the speaker also discussed the matter of calling the assembly session some other place like the Convention Center for the reason of renovation of the NA.
The sources said that Speaker Asad Qaiser has also asked the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to report on all possible locations for the Assembly’s No-Confidence Session.
Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem also discussed the constitutional points of the No-Confidence Motion with the Speaker.
