Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl group (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Monday issued a charge sheet against former premier Imran Khan.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the JUI-F chief has declared his political rival and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan a Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq of Pakistan.
He said in a statement issued here from his party’s media cell on Monday that Imran Khan’s statements against the defence institute are intended to divide the army and a lobby of an elite class is behind him.
He said they will not allow anyone to destroy the country and its institutions and will also protect the institutions of the homeland and its geographical borders.
Maulana Fazl said they have always expressed their disagreement with the opinion of any individual of the institution or any of his actions but have always respected the military as a defence institution.

The JUI-F said Imran Khan is disgracing Pakistan all over the world for fulfilling its agenda and his wish to get back to power is to pursue his failed agenda and destroy the existence of Pakistan which will never be fulfilled.
He said Imran Khan has devastated the country economically and morally, and left it isolated at the diplomatic level.
Imran Khan tried to split the Islamic Summit first and now wants to divide the defence institute with the backing of a certain kind of a lobby which is a heinous crime, he added.
Maulana Fazl further stated that Imran Khan has made the Kashmir deal and halted the CPEC project at the behest of the USA.
The JUI-F chair also said that though Imran Khan is showing himself against America but there were more than 15 members from the USA in his cabinet and other western countries.
For the first time in history, a US national was appointed governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and also handed over it to the IMF, he concluded.
