Federal cabinet approves Strategic Trade policy Framework 2020-25

Commerce Advisor to Prime Minister Abdul Razak Dawood Tuesday said the federal cabinet approved the Strategic Trade Policy Framework 2020-25 to improve the distribution and sale of products and services.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PM advisor said that the policy would lead to geographical and product diversification and tariff rationalization would reduce production costs.
Dawood said now market access would become possible under the free and pre-trade agreements, and it would also facilitate logistics and tracking systems as well as supply of goods to European and Russian markets under the TIR agreement.
He said these markets would be accessed through the Central Asian states, Iran and Turkey.
