The district administration has extended the closure of all educational institutes in Rawalpindi to maintain law and order, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

According to a notification, all educational institutions in Rawalpindi including schools, colleges, and universities will remain closed for another day (Thursday).  

Earlier, the administration had kept the educational institutes closed for two days (August 8-9) due to the prevailing law and order situation in the city.
