NAB summons Bushra Bibi, Farah Gogi in NCA £190 m scandal

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has issued summons to Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, and Farhat Shehzadi, aka Farah Gogi, in connection with the ongoing investigation into the National Crime Agency (NCA) £190 million scandal.
According to the24NewsHD TV channel, the accountability watchdog has scheduled their appearance on November 13 at the NAB Rawalpindi office, situated in G-6 Islamabad.
NAB's directive instructs Bushra Bibi and Farhat Shehzadi to appear before a joint investigation team as accused individuals in the NCA scandal, with a specific request to bring along documents related to Al Qadir University funds.
The summon notice outlines that despite being called three times in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case, Bushra Bibi has failed to present herself before the NAB investigation team, necessitating her appearance as an accused party.
The notice hinted the NAB authority was dissatisfied with Bushra Bibi's previous replies and submitted documents.
Bushra Bibi is asked to appear before the joint investigation team of NAB Rawalpindi on November 13 at 2 pm.
Similarly, Farhat Shehzadi, known as Farah Gogi in a seprate summon notice has also been directed by the NAB Rawalpindi to appear at their office on November 13 at 3:30 pm. The notice underlines her previous non-compliance with NAB summons and emphasizes her obligation to participate as an accused in the ongoing investigation.
She has been advised to bring documents related to the Al-Qadir Trust and Al-Qadir University during her appearance.
