A cup of tea now costs 70 rupees

Roadside stalls in Karachi have increased the price of a cup of tea by Rs10 which will now be available at Rs70, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Moreover, the hotels and tea stalls of the city also increased prices of green tea and pure milk tea along with the regular cup of tea, resultantly the poor tea-lovers will have to think twice before ordering a cup.
The owners of hotels and stalls said that they were compelled to hike the rates due to the skyrocketing prices of milk, tea leaves and sugar.
On the other hand, the citizens say they have reduced their tea consumption and now they have to sip half cup of tea or to share one cup with another person.
