Air Arabia plane makes emergency landing at Karachi Airport

An Air Arabia plane travelling from Sharjah to Dhaka made an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport early Monday after one of its passengers died, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Air Arabia flight G9512 was flying in Indian airspace when health of one of its passengers suddenly worsened, sources at the airport said, adding the pilot contacted air traffic controller (ATC) at the Karachi Airport and sought permission for emergency medical landing.
A Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesman said that after receiving permission the Air Arabia planed landed at the Karachi Airport.
A medical team of the CAA examined the 42-year-old passengers and pronounced him dead, the spokesman said and added after formal proceedings the body was handed over to the airline.
According to airport sources, the Air Arabia flight remained at the Karachi Airport for nearly two hours and later took off for Dhaka at 6:00 am.
