Boy trying to save sister shot dead by dacoits in Shakargarh

Dacoits shot dead a young boy for trying to save his brave sister who resisted to robbers' advances during a dacoity at a home of a Korea-returned man in Shakargarh on Monday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, a gang of eight dacoits entered the house in the village of Chhanni Nigrota in Shakargarh in wee hours of Monday..

The police said that a girl threw glassware at one of the dacoits in resistance and injured him during the dacoity.

In retaliation, the dacoits fatally shot her 20-year-old brother named Farhan who died on the spot.
The gang of dacoits fled after looting cash and valuables worth millions of rupees.

The dacoits also vandalized the short circuit television (CCTV) cameras fixed in the house and took away all the recorded video with them.

Saddar Police Station officials said that the dacoits also snatched a motorcycle from a passerby laborer while fleeing.

The victim family and locals demanded Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and police chief IG Dr Usman to take notice of the dacoity murder.
