The Mianwali police took former PTI lawmaker Aliya Hamza Malik and social media activist Sanam Javed from Kot Lakhpat Jail.

The police will present them before an anti-terrorism court in Sargodha tomorrow.

Amid tight security, the police shifted the duo after a Lahore ATC granted a one-day transit remand.

They are accused in the case of torching Kamar Mashani police station in Mianwali on May 9 – a day when PTI activists took to the streets to vent their spleen over the arrest of ex-PM Imran Khan in a corruption case.

The PTI mob damaged public property, state assets and sensitive installations, leaving a trail of devastation.
